My £180 wish list - based in South Wales

If you're in South Wales and have any of the following cluttering up your shed/garage/lounge please consider helping a relative landy newby 'sexy' up his Disco 300tdi?!?

SWMBO has decreed that I am allowed to have upto £180 for bits for my '98 300tdi disco.

I would like... (and I know I'm doing some serious wishing!!)

a tidy looking bull bar
snorkel ( I know this is a major wish!)
some 'protection' - diff guards and steering guard
some light protectors for the rears - bumpers and body
clear front indicators or even a set of normal ones that are about the same colour?!?
set of bumper lights as mine are a bit cracked and passed it.

Obviously if you're in South Wales its better as Mr postman/courier blokey won't cut into the spends - I'll come and pick the gear up for an agreable price.

Looked on ebay - all the stuff at tidy prices is way up country in landy territory - yorks/scots.

No need for a welder - brother in law does that for a living and have a few mates who love to do 'weekend' welding - you know kind of like the 40 yr old blokes who dress in lycra and cycle, only welding is their perversion!?!

I have the LRparts one for the 110 and it seems spot on, looks to me like it may have came out of the safari mold.

Hey moby - you are indeed a legend!! The big question is when in mid feb, as we are now away 8th Feb until late on the 15th - which just happens to be mid feb by my reckoning!

Now if the dates all work out, me and ben need to talk prices on the sump guard, tank guard and snorkel!!

Happened on a pair of relatively mint and fairly new diff guards locally this morning for 25 quid.

Just as an aside - I virtually pass Foundry 4x4 3 times a week at the moment with work, so could return favours to get any stuff further south, into cardiff area. I know its not a massive distance from tredegar into cardiff - but it might help someone

Hi mate just got in from work as im a shopfitter i have a lot of jobs all round in feb ie next tues im in inverness lol looking at my job sheets i got today its looking to be 19/20 of feb im in swansea. im all over atm like poole plymouth truro barnstable then have to little jobs in swansea and carmarthen that all starts on the 18 feb.next week tho im in blackpool ayre inverness elgin st andrews huddersfield lincoln so if you find anything in these areas swansea is one of my last calls so can still drop of to you
