As I write this the sun is shining and I wish to share my good fortune and raise your spirits. There is a good L322 out there and it's mine.:)

MOT done yesterday, just one advisory - N/S subframe bush showing signs if cracking, but servicable. Having a chat with the MOT tester he did say that there was a small oil leak from the return pipe from the turbo, so atrip to Rave later today.

Needless to say I am still in love with my Rangie.

Have been since the mid eighties, It has been reminiscent of that spaghetti western "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" Had at least one of each in my time.:D:D

Don't worry, they still go wrong even with a new MOT:rolleyes:
 
Oh yes data, don't you just know it.

Got home yesterday to "Tailgate open" message, checked the tail gate and the lock failed in the open position. Closer imspection proved the actuator is fine, but the arm that operates the arm that releases the lock isn't operating fully.

I have a second hand unit coming from Ebay, so I will drill out the original and see if I can repair it.
