Took my 96 300tdi for its MOT this morning, never even bothered looking at it, huge crack in the windscreen, so knew it would fail, was waiting for the long list of dangerous faults so I could run home show the missus, then go buy a Defender.....

Cracked Windscreen
OS sidelight bulb US
OS bumper indy bulb not working.....
That was it!!
He never mentioned the swivel ball thatwas leaking nor the shot rear shocks, new screen being fitted for £140 all in on tuesday, new bulb fitted in sidelight, and removed other indy bulb, he was has happy if the bumper ones did not work...
Result! Means I have to stick up with the bitch for another year though.
Oh and I will be replacing the shocks and balls ASAP as a matter of course.
