MOT day

well in 10 mins im setting off for the MOT only had the car a little while as you know but got under it today cleaned up some brake pipes dnt think they would fail but if i can get away until warmer weather comes i will be happy cause in summer i was planning on swapping all the brake pipes

ive got no bangs and rattles the last MOT passed with the advisories as exhaust back box and tyres which i have done as i swapped my tyres from the L series and the guy i bought it off supplied me with a back box

anyway as good as i think it is i still hate today

Yep I know what ya mean, I hate MOT time, (between me and the otherhalf we have 5 cars) its thought of someone looking over ya car and finding a fault that you've missed, but at the end of the day the law says it has to be done to make sure its road worthy and legal etc.

I'm more strict than my Mot tester!! At least I don't have to worry about it failing.

I'm normally the same and like it spot on but only had it about a month and everything that wanted doing I have done but not had the chance to really get under and pick it apart and fix but least today will tell me i it was worth buying and not fixing the other one lol

Can't see the point in checking things myself - that's what I pay the MOT (WOF) station for! If things break or I find (hear/feel) things are going wrong, I'll fix them and things the MOT doesn't check - like levels - oil, water, air, diesel ! Other than that its over to the WOF inspector (every 6 months here).

you can pay £25 for cheapo defo gunna fail MOT here but i take it to my mate who doesnt do MOT he sends them out and the garage that then do the MOT no they dnt get the work to start with

if he couldnt fit it in id use a MOT only no repair garage
