Replacing heater matrix on a Disco 1, what I thought would only be a simple few hours took all day, and all the dash board out...easy enough work, but what a pain! Mind you radio aerial on a Disco was a pain in the bum recently, took a lot longer than the twenty minutes I had planned to do it in. So I guess all jobs on a Land Rover

naah, it´s td5... engine is silent but those wondering sounds wich could come from... i dont know :crazy:So much engine noise makes noise diagnostic difficult
TD5 nice and refined
best thing about the 200tdi is you can't hear any faults, less to worry about

Drilling out the rivets on a 300 tdi vacum pump while its still on the engine !......everything was going great until a mate turned up with 24 bottles of lager... you can guess the rest

done a couple of transfer box swaps and removals, although we've got ramps and the gear to do it i can see it being a right PITA if you were doing it on your driveway, wheras i have the kit to remove drop arms and they are still ****ing impossible
