It was just the two 110's on this trip, went across a couple of dune fields and a long stretch of sand down by the border, pretty much without any drama of getting stuck, I found that having lots of power was advantageous and 20 psi in the tires.
We took my tow bar off my 110 out there, as it was clear by day two it was crunching in to rocks, only downside was it was acting as a fuel tank guard, and I have a few scrapes on the thin LR tank guard now. I'd most probably fit a thick fuel tank guard for next time.
The cooper Discoverer STT tires did 5400 miles without any drama and still look in good shape, the anal part of me is not that happy that the white lettering has turned a little yellow though!
