Modular wheel fitment

I think I have decided to go for 235 70 16 tyres, which from info supplied on this forum requires spacers. I have been looking into modular wheels as many seem to have these fitted to allow for bigger tyres, however I have just been told by a supplier that they are et35, my current wheels are et46 and given that the modulars are 1" wider this will make them closer to the strut.
I don't want to use spacers and supplier said Jeep modulars are et20 but with a different centre bore. So which modulars do people fit to thee Freelanders?

When I was toying with tyre sizes I went here:

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

You can put your standard tyre and hub info in one table, and your planned tyre and hub sizes in the other and compare them. It's pretty good !!!!

Fit the freelander ones, ET30 is the right offset, thats what we all have, no problems anywhere

Modulars I had on mine didn't need spacer and 235/70/16 fitted fine. Sold em to jc600 in the end

Diesel do have you got spacers on them?
What the tyre size? Looking for something similar, got the 18” sport alloys on.

Look at DDs profile page. He described the fitting of his 18" AT tyres. By all accounts, it's not easy to fit 255/55/18 tyres to a Freelander, which is why I didn't. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/members/diesel-do.86162/
