mod army hardtop roof rack

Hi guys I have done a search for this already but can't seam to find much information on them. The plastic, single piece hard top on the military defenders are great, but one massive drawback is the fact there is no way to strap a roof rack on.

Now the only time I've seen a rack on one, is some of the winter/ water ones and occasionally signals Platoon ones.
These "Ski Racks" as one of the army publications calls them, bolt through the side and fix the the roll cage inside.

The drama is finding these surplus for sale somewhere. I've never seen them on eBay or anywhere. Does anyone know a better solution? An alternative? Or have some for sale!?

All else fails I'll be borrowing one off the sigs Platoon and finding someone to fabricate them over the weekend

I built one onto the roll hoops

Nice! Is that scaffolding poles?! That's not going anywhere.

I was thinking of going through the top face if I had to build one myself.

I had loads of 48.3mm tube sitting about so i thought why not
