MK4 BMW Satnav unit

Need some help please peeps... I am currently winning an auction for a DVD satnav unit. Description says its from a BM 7 series and it is a MK4, but it only has one set of connectors not 2 like some others. Can anyone tell me from these pics if it will directly replace the CD version I currently have?

Sorry, jumped the gun a bit , what year Is your l322 again? I remember you having something like a 2003 ? But you could have changed it since :)
 
So, I'm confused!!!:confused: (doesn't take much) Can i buy a Mk4 dvd unit only and just plug and play in my 02 Vogue or do i need to change the screen too?
 
Might be worth mentioning that using a BMW unit you will get a BMW splash screen and no off road navigation. The splash screen can be fixed with a firmware update. Mattstevens was the fella for that, but he hasn't been on here in a while but his site is still running - myrangerover.co.uk or something like that. I'll post a link later if you can't find it.
 
I have recently purchased 2002 rangy most of the audio and sat nav things don't work yet or are in need of upgrades etc.
Dealing with just the sat nav from what I can see it looks like the sat nav unit in the boot has been upgraded to the DVD version but there does not appear to be a DVD disk for it.Does anyone know what disc I need for uk and where to get one?
 
Land Rover never fitted the Mk 4 unit so you must use BMW discs. There are two types - Professional and High. 'Professional' is only for iDrive BMWs so you need the 'High' one. Just Google 'BMW high sat nav DVD' and I'm sure you'll find lots of choices - they're all over eBay.

If your audio doesn't work it's prob due to water ingress in the rear quarter, I would be suspect of the sat nav having gone the same way. Just because it hasn't got a disc in the drive shouldn't affect anything else

Big thanks to all who helped with sat nav BMW high worked a dream loaded great £30 well spent.
Now to next challenge DVD audio,then tv,then phone !
