misted up windows

hi all,does anybody know the secret to keeping the inside of the windows mist free on these cold days.i have the heater on full but the side windows front and back mist up terrible.....any suggestions ????? TIA (discovery 300tdi)

you got wet carpets have you checked the crappy rubber underlay i bet its dripping wet

caused by moisture in the car have you checked under carpets etc to see how wet they are as the odd disco has been known to leak

not a pro with my 90 as no carpets and any water that comes in goes out under doors

You don't have a/c then

are u sure the air recirculation button isn't on, although the is a warning light for this. For maximum ventilation out of the side vents turn the centre control to the 8 o'clock position.
As stated any dampness in the car will caurse condensation.

If the interior ie carpets arnt wet it might be your air re circulation button is on

thanks guys i checked carpets and all seems ok , the air recirc button was ON so have turned OFF and put some rain x on inside of windows , now have perfect vision.thanks again for your quick response i await my next problem !!!!
