I have put a couple of threads on here recently about the Tailgate Regulator on my 2003 which had to be changed. I bought the new part then rang around to find a Landrover specialists to fit it and was quoted by 3 seperate companies anything up to £120 +VAT. Well this morning armed with info from Landyzone and after watching a couple of Videos on the subject went out and fitted it (Cross fingers) properly. My only problem is the Heated Window and which Cable goes where Brown to the left looking at the connection or to the right?
Help please.

It doesn't matter which way round you plug the HRW connector, as the glass is insulated from the body.

Hi, I don't think it matters one side to earth & the other side to the live supply it just needs to make a circuit but I've just checked mine & the brown wire is on the left when looking at the t/g window from 'inside' the car with the black (earth) outer most.

That's the way I fitted mine too, although it really doesn't matter I don't believe.
