Disco 2 Mirrors, Windows & Sunroofs not working (temporarily)

A funny thing happened on the way home form the supermarket yesterday...
I got in the Disco and set off.I flicked the mirror switch and nothing happened. So I went to wind the wondows down to push the mirrors out by hand but the windows didn't move. I also checked the sunroof and that wasn't working either.
So I pulled over, swithced her off and on again and everything was fine.
Is this a signof impending doom? Will it be expensive?

Unlikely... We are in France right now and it's been hot and sunny for over a week. No rain, no river crossings.

The water ingress makes it's job in time as it creates corrosion in the plugs or the PCB, it can be hystorical so if it does the trick again that's where to look first IMO

I'll have a look. Maybe old water ingress combined with being very hot and dry? I was parked in an unshaded place early afternoon.
