Minety 4x4 Pay 'n' Play

Hi everyone. I help run a 4x4 pay and play site in Wiltshire as the title states and we have been looking to forums to increase the awareness of our site.

We run the site on every First Sunday of the month and with the summer approaching ( yea right ) we run camping weekend events with Night driving. It's quite tough terrain in places so its advised to have very good tyres and lift kits fitted. Definatly not road Tyres, or the all terrain 80/20's... We have a Tractor on hand to rescue vehicles that can't be towed out by others. We pride our selves in getting vehicles that are stuck back on the track as quickly as possible so they have an enjoyable day breaking things!

Oooo a Minety 4x4 Vetran! I came across here and thoguht.... 30,000 members i'm sure some people would appreciate getting well and truely stuck

Yer your wooded section is mental!

what i like about Minety is that it forms a big loop which is easy going, If you want to get tough, just head off on the other tracks and see what you find. Nice large area, only seems to bunch up with people getting stuck in water holes in the woods. But then you can just do another loop and come back later

has it changed much since late 06/early 07?

keep meaning to come back and try my 300 but not had time!

Yea its a bit...... Challenging Well i dont think the play field was there when you last came. Full field designated to doing anything you want

The seccond forest is nearly impossible.... Only a few attempt it so for anyone wanting a challenge thats the one to go for lol!

Yea its changed. The ground there is Famour Minety Clay! It changes daily lol. If it rains mid day you can get screwed lol Some areas turn to soup! hense why the tractors always on hand

Come along again! and drag a bunch of mates! Convoy around!

When you guys coming back then and I'm famous!!! Taking a picture of us rescuing you eh? My flourescant jacket must have reflected ALOT of sunlight to make the photo all bright

Unfortunately some theiving oik tried to nick that landy and wrote it off.

Until I get the rear on my new landy lifted there's no point in me coming over to spend my entire time bogged. With a bit of luck I'll get the heavy duty rear springs on in the next month or two.

I heard that there was a possibility of it being closed down? Any truth in it?
