Hi guys sorry to bother you...I'm a little confused!
I believe I have military 'WOLF' door tops on my 110 cow...both parts of the glass slide correct?
I'm currently stripping them to tint the glass and return the doors...I'm struggling to find the correct or alternative/improved seals for in the channels...plus I don't even know if I have all the ones that should actually be in there!
Any help would be gratefully received!

HI
I don't think what you have are "Wolf" door tops, simply early 90/110 or standard military.
If both glasses move they're 90/110, one fixed glass could be series type.
The replacement seals, felt sliders and rubbers are still available and should stop leaks and the hideous window chatter when moving.
I rebuilt mine (both sides) from parts ordered through Gott's in Alton.
It's easy once the window is apart as it's only pop rivets securing the entire gubbins to the frame.
I did find something on youtube that suggests there is an improved seal out there but as it was a US contributor on the clip I didn't bother.

Ah thanks for that, getting confused with standard military and 'wolf' so series types dont have two sliding bits of glass only one and military have both bits of glass that slide like mine correct?
Will seals from a series fit a military and vize versa then?

standard military door tops and wolf door tops are the same i think. I have one of each and they are the same.

I brought some expensive uprated seals, they are far better than the felt imo.
they are expensive, i got them cheaper than this though, it was a year or so ago and i am sure they were less than £100

seals area available from land rover aswell but i cant remember the price

Thanks for the info...very expensive though for what is essentially a couple of rubber window channels.....wondering if i could make the same thing with something like http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1649-window-channel.aspx ??
Also its seems that on mine the fronts are angled and the second row are vertical glass?

I bought 6 metres. That was for two Defender doors with wind down windows, so 3 metres per side. The channel goes from low down inside the door, up and around the window frame and then down inside of the other side of the door. As well as the window fitting in to it in the window frame, it slides down the channel, inside the door frame, when you wind it down.

Cool..so guess I won't need quite as much per frame as I have sliding windows so won't need to go down through door. Thanks for all your help...I'll hopefully post a write up once I get sorted

No worries. It's easy to cut with a junior hacksaw. I used dinitrol on the ends I cut. I bonded it in to the window frame recess using black, bitumastic based sealant (for gutters)
