Thanks Peter, yeah your right.....doesn't tell you much lol. Not like MG/Rover and Ford build data that I've looked up before. :)

Was hoping it said if it was a 4 or 5 seater. As it's fitted with 5 seats and 3x3 point rear belts like the xei models. But as it's a E it would of had twin rear seats from the factory. And is listed as 4 seats on the V5. But on my insurance as a 5 seater. I know someone could of swapped the seats. Need to contact DLVA but they need to know date of change, and who fitted them. But I don't know that, so will just have to tell them I don't know.

Does it tell you more on these bits? Or the drop down boxes? Thanks :)

What you need is the build sheet from the assembly line. I got a copy of mine back in the days when customer service meant something, but they don't respond to such requests now.

Would the 3-door have been 5-seats?

This brochure says that the 3-door was available with both 4 and 5 seats, so it was probably just an option when ordered.

Yeah, just looked at 2004 brochure. E trim model had a option for 3 seat rear bench. So someone must paid extra. Just DVLA wrong as usual lol

Thanks for your help, that's brilliant. I'll send a copy to the DVLA. Would rather have the correct info on my V5, saves any problems when selling etc. :)

If you need copies with the full reg and VIN, let me know. I edited out these for the forum, but the originals are on my old desktop running Windows2000 and are unedited.
