metalic rattle like a heat plate

hi im new to land rovers and just got my first a 96 disco 300tdi manual. it was running fine until last week but its deveoped a rattle ive looked under the the car and nothing was loose.this is when in motion even when costing in nutral any advise lease

thats one thing i didnt check i hope its somthing like that.could it be gearbox or transfer box.i did have the rear donut replaced could it be around that area?

there was a thin piece of tin (heat shield) on the nearside engine mount that made a proper racket on my wifes when she first got it! worth a look!
