2002 L322 td6
Developed a knocking under center on way down Kirkstone pass have looked as far as I can think ceter exhaust shield is loose knocking, any members in the area with a pit or ramp ? Or can crawl on a dry surface to look ? As I can't do either lol I have tried but can't as back injury as always stops me.

If anyone can help I am pretty sure it's the center heat shield it's a wobble knock just can't get to it

Have a look on the international rescue map there looks to be a couple around Windermere think @Grimmer is there I've tagged him so he may help. Good luck.

Well got to the bottom of it !
Rear brake caliper was help on with 1 bolt and flopping and front bushes were the guy with the hammer sound !
Mountain goat garage took it in and did the same day for me dropped at 8.15 collected at 5pm £163 all in and a day without a car but hey good service.
Since then she has done 800 miles and 2 legal byways over the yorkshire mountains with ease, pictures and videos will be going on my you tube channel......uk traveller 625
