I think it's less clear cos everyone is set up for v bulletin. It might work better if everyone took the quotes out of their sig etc so it's clear what is post and what isn't.
 
Pass your cursor over your user name in the upper right corner (mine says "West Slop..." which I like) and down will come a bunch of stuff. Click on "Your content" and your replies will be shown, albeit not as orderly as before.

Are there still links for "My posts", "My threads"? I found these very handy previously.
 
Colours are too wishy-washy for me, difficult to read some of the semi greyed-out text headings, in fact the colour combinations of foreground and background need a rethink.

I'm with datatek on this, not as clear as it should be or was. The extended signatures of some posters like 110Woman are really difficult to resolve for me, colour combinations and greyed-out text again.

Text as entered is nice and clear, black on white, but once posted it goes to a sort of grey?

i agree to the limiting of quoted posts in peeps sig's. I know you can turn oft the sig viewing but that means you miss out on all sig's from everyone, as opposed to limiting the multi-sig quoting which goes past a screen's length.

Some of the text colours in yer user set-up bit like the word "options" in the preferences section is light grey so yer can't see it clearly against the background.

I'm not seeing the wishy washyness of the posts, all the texts are clear to me. Fonts are larger than before, to make things clearer. Please post a screenshot of the gray on white stuff, it might be an area I haven't paid particular attention to.

Are you sure it posts it for all to see, and you're not just seeing it because it is part of your own activity? This LZ-Live shows more than just posts. I haven't tested it, but it would be pretty stupid for the reports to be anything but confidential!

Sigs are down to the user, there isn't a limit on them because there never has been.
I'll add the user setup bit colour clashing to the to-do.


If anyone does find colours clashing or things they can't see, please post a screenshot or give me a good description. There are a lot of parts to the forum and I can fix these things if I know about them.
 
I can see posts i've reported in the LZ live thing, but nothing from others reporting.
This was done by reporting something to test it.
 
The banner at the top with Twitter tweets (if that's what they are)...how's that work/what's it for?
I don't do modern.
 
I'm loving the new interface. Very clear and easy. I suggest if people can't read this they Google their local school and book attendance. Five year olds with an iPad will nail this in minutes.
Furthermore I like it because I often use my phone to view it and I used Tap A Talk once to which I didn't like. So I find this much more user friendly! However the point system is rather suspect, I'm doing awfully!

I don't really get the "like" buttons a lot of forums are going to, or at least when there isn't a corresponding "dislike" button.

As for the overall interface, it's not particularly obnoxious, then again, neither was the old one. I don't care for the banner bar always showing, but it's not a huge thing, just a waste of screen real estate. If I didn't have a large screen I'd probably hate it. I'll have to see how it is on my laptop.
I did think I was on the wrong website for a moment when i first came to it since I had to sign on again and it was pretty different than what I was used to.
