New does not always mean better, in fact most "new" stuff has shorter life expectancy, is over complicated and less reliable.
Still if I go I'm sure i wont be missed.

I've just quit Facebook, I got ****ed off with them constantly hassling me for personal information.

If we could have some skins added please, then members could use something that suits themselves.
For my personal taste the whole forum is too big.. twas fine yesterday but now all of a sudden it's stretched right across my browser, and on a 23" monitor it's HUGE.
Also it's wishy washy, a marked lack of contrast.

Would agree with the above. A selection of themes would make it easier for some folk to adjust to the changes.

I also note that you cannot see who is looking at section/thread, there used to be a list at the bottom of the page, I found that useful.

I need a motor on the scroll wheel, there is so much wasted screen space with signatures etc that one seems to have to scroll for ever.

Have to say, it's better on the iPad than the iPhone. Not that I ever get to use the iPad

If I click on my name, I get a pop up in which some of the print is dark green on a black background, almost unreadable

Of course you'd be missed. It is a little difficult to take criticism as constructive when you determined not to like it as soon as it was announced though

Yep it's not perfect but considering the enormous amount of work and effort that's been put in and that is continuing primarily by Roy, and where the start point was with the default settings it must be hard to hear a hard barrage of complaint with some folk unable to see anything positive at all.

I consider we owe Accy and Roy an enormous debt of gratitude for LZ being here at all never mind what the colour scheme is or whether I need to put my glasses on or not.

If it aint broke, why try to fix it? I'm open to all sorts of new stuff, but I'm Yorkshire blunt when IMO new is worse than old. I've tried to offer information that might be useful.
I'm still trying to find out how to edit my signature to get rid of all the unnecessary stuff to reduce page space used.
I assume this is a profit making venture for Accy & Roy, at least I hope it is, it's not good for them if the new format puts people off.

Preferred previous layout, but like anything that changes need time to find ones way around.

Because it was broke, held together with gaffa tape and bulging at the seams. Most importantly this is a lot more secure but it's also able to handle information from other formats and you can pick up any device and view the forum in the same way without having to install go between software.

Snail mail is still completely viable but would make for a pretty crap forum.

If you'll pardon me a little Yorkshire bluntness suggesting it's a money making venture is bloody insulting!

If I could have everything I wanted it would look exactly the same as it did but work better.....it doesn't to the first but I'll cope somehow.

Never had to use a go between on any of my Android devices, nor did I have to use Photobucket etc for uploading photo's.
Why do you find the suggestion that the site should make money insulting? there is owt for nowt in this life and the amount of work involved in supporting the site must be considerable, not to mention having funds for legal challenges.

Use 'reply' for single quotes and '+quote' for multi quoting.

It's a little different, not broken

The thing is all you whingie whiney moany buggers would be just the same if Landyzone had started of with this format and upgraded (so to speak) to the original format you'd still be whinging and and whining.

People use LZ in different ways, nothing is ever going to satisfy everyone and any of us could sit here all day and pick holes in someone else's work and then suggest the only reason they'd do something so stupid is to make money.

A lot of stuff is still being tweaked and I dare say some suggestions will be taken up and some wont

Whilst the thread title is what it is I don't think everyone on here is saying they don't like it.its different and will have a few teething problems but that's to be expected. The notifications whilst on screen is a good idea and so are the alerts. Until a slanging match kicks off that is and the alerts will block the whole screen....
