dear sirs and madames,
first of all may i thank the administrators for allowing me to join this site.
well here we go,
my name is neil and i live in a small village just outside rotherham (don't hold it against me yet:D)
i currently own my first land rover which is a 1994 300 tdi manual discovery in white that i call my fourth child. i know this may be sad but i am THAT happy with my truck!!!(although it is currently off the road.)
i am married with 3 children and have had several lines of work from steelworks to butcher to builder's merchant supervisor before my career was cut short due to a severe back injury which caused my employer to finish me. i am now registered disabled and have just about come to terms with that at 38 years of age it wasn't easy.
although i qualify for a car through disabled benefits i prefer to try and manage and use my discovery for as long as i can.
thanks guys for listening/reading and i look forward to having correspondence with some of you at least.
yours faithfully,
neil.

Hi Neil

Welcome to landyzone. Don't worry about being too formal on here. You'll make the menials feel inadequate.;)

A thick skin and sense of humour are essential on here.

ffs Ratty - menials, MENIALS!! when I called us "inmates" I got a severe reprimand :(.

oops :behindsofa:
