Searched the threads and nothing, but please do not flame without consideration.
I "semi" love my freelander (for want of cheaper petrol to burn the damn thing) and my MRS will not consider a defender or disco due to mpg and comfort.
Having said thing, after renewing the injector leak off lines, "T" connectors, MAF meter, CCB changed to an Oil Separator, new rear box, rear dif mount, cleaned and proofed the rear drums, new glow plugs, I now have lowered mpg, dif whine (bearings or Cv / UJ), for want of potentialy IRD, dif and VCU (even though |VCU was tested OK ???) I was wondering if anyone had successfully replaced the custard with a manual transfer box etc without issues or turning into a tractor fuel guzzling camel (sorry, endless attacks on the Freelander from disGAYvorvies, DefGAYders etc for want of normal info without cutting up motorways and trucks stopped JLR loyalty :violent: ) hehehe.
Seriously though, anyone please?
