Manifold 1.8 petrol remove??

Hiya sorry if this has already been said before. I'm trying to change my exhaust manifold as its snapped in half. I have removed 4 bolts but the alternater is in the way and there's one more behind that I don't really want to mess with that as I don't no what I'm doing. Or do I have to take it off? Can any one help please

Not the news I wanted to here is it an easy job?

It's not difficult, the belts are sprung fit so an allen key (IIRC) in the right place will loosen the belt enough to slip it off. then it's just a few bolts but make sure you note where everything fits together and in what order. Took me a while to sus it out when doing my head gasket as I just pulled everything off and threw them on a box.

I'll have to have a look then. I was going to take it a garage but will try and have a go my self. I read somewhere you don't have to take it off. I'm thinking of selling after its done
