Main Stealer price is cheapest!!!

Needed a new under bonnet fuse box for my v8 4.6, there are quiet a few different variations, thought i would ring the main dealer to get the correct part number by giving the chassis number, he quoted £129 + vat, two day wait for part.

Could not believe it, the cheapest i have found from an indy was £158 plus delivery!!!

Needless to say,its on order and a genuine part, goes to show it always worth a phone call.:crazy:

lucky you. main stealer quoted me £140 for a lift pump... got one for a tenner

cheapest aint always best i got a patent part clutch slave cylinder on my old 90 10+ years back and about 14 months later it packed up

so went to the stealers and got 1 (cant remember the price but was'nt more than a few quid differance)
its still going strong now (touch wood!)
have whenever i can gone for genuine parts (+ i get the dreaded vat back anyway

)

Picked up the fuse box today from the main dealer, £148.46 for part AMR 6405. need to fit it, but well pleased at the price and genuine!! need to put the drivers seat back in after repairing the heated element in the base, had snapped in two places, one seat down one to go.

Main Stealer price is cheapest!!!
