M51 engine from 525TDS BMW into DSE - Can I use the same turbo ?

Hi all.
My DSE's M51 engine has been cooked and I'm working my way between the pros and cons of repairing it versus fitting a new used one. I found what seems like a nice deal on a full M51 engine, from a 525TDS BMW.
I know that the pump is the same, but I'll need to swap the electronics. I also know that I need to exchange the sump. But my question is: is the turbo the same ? If it's not exactly the same, can I still drop this engine on my DSE and just adjust the turbo piping ?

I believe you have to use the Range Rover's turbo/manifold due to the positioning of the piping connections, I don't think you can adapt it.

Dont forget to swap the oil pick up pipe in the sump. Also it may pay to swap all the cencors from rr to replacement engine.Do them one at a time then you dont get them mixed up. Bazz Good luck.

if you have a manual u will also have to change the flywheel

I can transfer all the sensors/auxiliaries from my old engine into the new one but would like to know what's the minimum necessary.
