If it's evident then it'll fail as it's flammable liquid coming out, if it's a slight damp patch then i'd give it a damn good clean and patch it before friday, at least you've made an effort to control it.
 
Hmmm. Let me think...... Leaking fuel. Definite fail. If you can see it so will they.
No MOT examiner is going to advise you that your fuel tank is leaking and then give you an MOT saying that your motor is fit for the road.
 
Get the landy soaking before you go in, so if there is a weep they MIGHT think it's water. However I do recommend you get it fixed ASAP. There are many reasons including dangers of diesel spills to other road users and of course that diesel costs plenty of money and you need every drop!
