Hi all,

Just bought my first Landrover and after loads of research went with a Freelander 2 SD4 2012. Very happy with it so far and looking forward to many happy miles driving it! I've got a health check on the car on Friday so fingers crossed that comes back okay.

I'm an engineer by trade and keen to do any fixes myself so I will be popping here from time to time to grab some advice and offer mine where I can. I would also be interested in meet ups if that's something you guys do.

All the best,

Lex.

Hi Lex

Welcome to the nut house forum!
Nice looking F2. Plenty of help on here for you.

Hop over to the ‘Freelander’ section…

Some of us do meet up - but it’d help if you suggested in your profile what neck of the woods you live in ;)

Thanks for the info, I'll get over to the Freelander section.

Ah yes location might help narrow it down! I'm in Hastings in the South East.

A few of us meet up and go laning a couple of times a year in Kent.
But judging from your shiny paintwork, you’ll not want to do that ! ;)

Haha yeah probably not going to be laning any time soon. I love the idea but I think fielding might be my sort of off-roading, less to hit. I was contemplating buying a very cheap FL2 and going laning so we'll see how things go with this one.
