lz events

If this is to be a regular thing then how about a proper website for future events (either custom or service (eventbrite, million others, etc) with all the events, gallery from last year, timetable, maps, who's coming, convoy meetups and all that.

Make it mob friendly with some cache so people can view the timetables on their mob.

Use the vb api to post a message to a read only thread when someone adds themselves to the list to keep the lz live feed showing. Hook it to twitter/facebook if you like.

Basically bring it a bit upto date.

Any thoughts?

I can't see what the problem is with the forum format.

I suspect moving LZ out of the forum will dilute it somewhat. The info is all there, mostly .. it doesn't have to be just the original poster or organiser who can collate the lists etc anyone can do it if they care enough to do so.
