Hi, This is my first post, so please bare with me. I tow a Luunar Lexon with my freelander and after about two and a half hours it is very reluctant to change up into top and seems to stick at three thousand revs. The box works perfect from start and only plays up after two and a half hours of work. I think the transmission fluid is being boiled and so refuses to change up. I have purchased the Lucas transmission fix size 710ml as this is supposed to stop the fluid overheating, now my question. Do I have to run 710ml out of the gearbox and then add the fix or can I just put the fix in on top of the fluid. I have heard that if the auto box is overfilled then the seals blow. Thankyou in advance, DAF 3600.
