if you run 20"s with what, 40 profile tyres? how will that lower the chassis (& tow ball) towards the ground? Surely thats near enough the same as runnin 16" with 75 profiles?
:confused::confused:

Bigger wheels dont lower a vehicle they (in my opinion only, look better and should help the handling)

IMO Disco's with big wheels DO look ****e and handling....... well they dont exactly 'handle well' in the first place anyway!?

But hey...just my oppinion......you never know what the Essex Chicks might think ;) :D

why you want lowerin springs then?
If you lower it & fit bigger wheels & tyres it will be the same height off the bloody ground as when you started

No it won't bigger wheels lower profile tyres will be about the same hight as original wheels as you pointed out earlier then lower chassis/body with lower springs lower profile tyres will help handling and lower centre of gravity will help cornering (abit)

Anyway back to my original question does anybody know if lowered springs are available?
At the end of the day if i fit and it looks ****e i can follow the rest of the heard and lift it it will only have cost me a set of springs

with low profil tyres you won't improve the handling you will just make the ride harsher, you will also end up paying more for your tyres and get stuck on wet grass

This gets stuck on wet grass any way acording to presant owner (road tyres) lower profile tyres will help less side wall to roll over yes they will cost more.

I lowered my Disco today. Loaded all my tools in the back and eight 5" douglas fir posts on the roof. Must have dropped by 3"! And the tow-plough gouged the feck out of every speed bump in town - well, the only one in town.

stick some A/Ts on it! and low profile tyres are worse offroad as you don't get as much movement in the tyre to self clean the tread so they fill up with the first bit of mud that touches them
