Low Remote Battery

hi have a 2003 rr vogue 4.4 petrol low batteyyr remote came up on the dash changed the battery and still get the warning i have reset the warning using RW solutions software anyone got any idea how to remove the warning, I have chnaged the battery twice ! thanks

Tried your spare key to see if it still brings up the error ??

hmmm.... odd...

funny, mine used to do that, even with new batteries like yours..

then it just stopped doing it, since then i have got two new key fob circuit boards which replaced the old worn out ones.

you can replace the circuit board only without the need to get the keys re-synced by the garage.

might be worth it if your still on your original set..

I was having similar constant "Low remote battery" warnings

After changing the battery 3 times I sorted the problem and 4 months later on the same the battery I have had no more LRB messages

When operating the remote hold the button in for at least one second per press

And thats it !!!!

I was at first "just touching" the remote button and kept getting the message

Now I do a definate PRESS and all is good

thanks tried that an stil the same apart from all the windows opening !! god these are freaks !!

The windows opening are because the remote is being held too long

Try a definite press instead if a "seconds" duration

Lazy lock - try this open all windows and sunroof - shut all doors - now press and hold lock button - all doors should lock and windows will close themselves along with the sunroof

A similar thing may happen when holding the unlock button and everything opens !

Their not freaks lol

That's a fancy option to open all of your windows from the fob

Most people didn't even know that you could do it ! Lol

But I'm a Geek....

tried all that and still the low battery remote comes on !! and i want to sell this and buy a SC one !! may have to be a main stealer visit

used the RSW solutions software to clear fault but still keeps coming on...

If the fault is still present then you won't be able to clear it

Best get some shares with BP for petrol if your buying that SC one

Well I'm pretty sure the SC one will cost more on road tax than your 4.4

yes road but i was reffering to the robber tax on the fuel !!
