Hi Guys,

I noticed that the door hinges on one of the doors has become loose enough to move about with my hand. I tightened one of the screws without any bother but the rest turn freely without tightening. What is behind these screws keeping them tight and why would they loosen so much? Anyone else had this? :scratching_chin:

Regards DD :):)

door side or tother side, pillar side is captive nuts IIRC, door side is nuts, usually nylocs, you will have to remove the door card at least partially for access.

reason for loosening, not nylocs, vibration, flexing, not tightened properly in the first place, grease used on the threads instead of copperslip.

It is only the screws of both hinges on the actual door of the left hand side passenger door (1997 CSW 110) which are loose. All the rest are fine :scratching_chin:. Thanks :)
