my 300 has been very smokey for a while on tick over changed stem seals as they were a bit stiff still the rich smoke and a burst of smoke when reving so pulled injectors out today and they were friggin rotten got the mr muscle oven cleaner out got rid of the carbon clean as a whistle after that then put them into acetone on the tips for an hour or so put em back in was smokey at first but they must of new sorted themselves out as its burning clean as a whistle didnt take injectors apart and they are sorted removed vith homemade tool that screws onto top of injector with a loop on it to put a sliding hammer through couple of taps on sliding hammer and they are out.

Engines are like Welding to me mate, aint got a clue:confused:

you done owt today with landy,ive been sorting wires for new dash today oh the joys and its still running mint since i sorted injectors out

Not Yet concentrating on extending my Garden shed come workshop. need to make it bigger then build work benches round it.
I'm in no hurry whatsoever with the project, could take me a year or so.

Hers another bit of advice I need. Gonna try and start engine tomorrow on chassis, from battery , can someone tell me, before I blow myself up, step by step instructions on how to do this?? where to put wires etc.

If you are not mechanically minded and learning as you are going along I think you'll need to revise your time estimate. Will your shed be big enough for you to get the Landy in, so you can work on it in all weathers?

Its in now Mate, just need to make the place bigger, its in and dry so its safe to leave to work on as and when I can, Need to sort decent Generator out too.

No Mate, Gonna try after work, I work 6 days a week only day off is Sunday. Cant wait for light night to come back in.

Sorry, that rings a bell. I think you've said that in an earlier post :oops::rolleyes:
I would be giving the engine a check over before I tried to start it and I wouldn't run it for long.
