looking for a rear bumper

a white van man has just crashed into the back of my disco cos of the ice. it wud prob bend back but as the company will be paying i might as well change it.

was thinking of a rear tubular bumper. anyone know of a nice looking one thats cheap? seen a few on ebay for around £50 but am not keen on them

If you aint payin for it....you can be fussy with the expense?

why are you looking at cheap bumpers when someone else is going to be paying for it ?

I have a mate who fabricates them for bearmach. Mine was about £75 cheaper than list price and is a steel HD full bumper with integrated bumperettes, 2 towing eyes, 2 HL jacking points. Very pleased with it.

It'll be about £175-200 for similar to mine or less without some of the options, so PM me if you're interested and I'll put you in touch.

If you want to keep below £100, I might know someone else, but it wont look as good and you'd need to get to the midlands.

i dont wanna get insurance company involved if possible. if i say its gonna be a couple hundred they might wanna go through insurance. i was thinking less than a hundred

Some chump reversed into the rear quarter of my Disco a while back. I managed to get £150 out of him (if I remember right). Cash, no insurance.

there arent any 'proper' manufacturers that make them, only people on ebay or get one thats made for a rrc

i looked at these but personally i dont like it.

thinkin more allong the standard shape heavy duty ones now. maybe upto bout £200

yup. it uses the 2 mounting holes for standard bumper plus the tow bar (rear) cross member for mounting so is bloody strong. You can either get an optional quick release tow bar mounting or use the bolts supplied to attach standard tow bar.
