Long shot- Locherbie/glasgow to north. Winch bumper

Big ask as its a big load but

Anyone head north from locharbie/glasgow often ?

Bought vilguys winch bumper , he can drop it with wolf in glasgow - that knocks 100miles off my round trip , can we get it any further north ? I live in aberdee and have family in dundee /arbroath and good friends in pitlochry that it could be left with.

Failing that ill just have to drive down...how ever that eats into rebuild time

Is there a timescale on this? I can probably do Elvanfoot to Pitlochry sometime soon if Vilguy can get it to Car&Truck beside j14 on M74?

It aint off his 110 yet and i aint nearly built mine yet so no set time scale although ill have to go get it afore long or he will get ****ed tripping over it

Im 10 miles away from Wolf and sit on the edge of the M73 at Gartcosh
I'm dropping stuff off to him this morning for Vilguy.

I got a Terrafirma tube bumper couriered from Essex to Glasgow for £30, saves a lot of faffing about

you could try JW armstrong in longtown, they are generally pretty cheap. I got a klf300 quad delivered on a pallet from here to essex for £45!

Might be cheaper than the fuel in picking it up from somewhere up there.

I am sure we can get it up there somehow.

looking like ill be away with work shortly to turkmenistan FFS so this is probably going to be settled by a van drive i reckon.

Vilguy - let me know when you have your new bumper fitted and ill head down your way straight from work one night

would hate for someone to bring it all the way up here and find ive been shipped out !

400 mile round trip in me van is 50 quid fuel.

plus boredom factor keeping her at 70/ 3800 RPM

weight wise - 45 - 50 kilos maybe? maybe not that much. Easy to lift for one person. Its more that its an awkward shape.

Ill whip it off this weekend. Im sure we can get it to you somehow
