Got a 1993 110 Hard Top. Thought I might be able to get round this by getting an RPC certificate issued. Appears from the TFL website that this only applies to a list of specific engine manufacturers and Land Rover ain't one of them! Taxi engines must be on the list. So what about LPG conversion? The Insurance company don't like that and crossing the channel would be out of the question. Seriously ****ed off!!!!!

I have a 2.5 4 cylinder petrol, and I really regretted not being able to find a diesel within my price range but after fitting lpg and seeing this I can't believe my luck, and I can't believe it doesn't cover them. It is such a joke, I do about 14mpg so use twice as much fuel as other diesels when on petrol and they think that is ok?

Like I said, it's about particulates emissions, so petrol vehicles are not involved. You are contributing to global warming, but not directly furring up the lungs of Londoners!:)

Who gives a damn about Londoners' lungs anyway?

They deserve all they get for living in a dump like that.

Its all fooking up the ozone layer whether you inside the M25 or not. £100 a day just go to Tesco's once a week is a bit steep, I'll have to use the Mercedes instead at that rate.

eh?

According to our records this vehicle is not subject to the Low Emission Zone and is not required to meet the Low Emission Zone standards this time.

Does that mean i ain't gotta pay anything??

I agree with Wickford, people have reasons for why they are where they go, I have only managed to get a job in London for the type of job I do, so therefore I do go into London. The whole of England to be honest when compared to other countries isn't that bad. I wasn't brought up in London, and I don't live in London just work there, but the change hasn't been that disastrous compared to other jobs I had out of London.

Those people that live and work in london give a damn, of course Lanarkshire is heaven on earth. when did you last visit london knobhead.

It is some years since I visited London, and that will be the last time. I will never knowingly be in London again. What for?

I found it to be a dirty smelly place, litter everywhere, and very expensive and unfriendly, beggars all over the place, and as far as I could see, most of the faces in the streets were not white ones, and the English language was not the predominant one.

Lanarkshire has its problems of course, but at least we have fresh air and space up here. I have ten acres of space all to myself, that's about 50,000 square yards.

Oh yes, England ... England is a quaint tourist trap on the south coast of Scotland.

Yes and no

Most people stay where they were born because they cant cope with change................

I'm sorry if this offends you but I don't believe for one minute that the only place in the whole of the world you could only get a job is, London.

You need to get out more ;)

Doesn't offend me no need to be sorry, I do get out! In fact I've been places like Birmingham and Bromsgrove where I'm guessing you live Bromsgrove Defender?

I love my job! :) and London is the best place to do it, mostly because of the problems in London! lol, which I guess is a bit backwards for my point here

Most Scot's are friendly as long as your not a knob. ;)

Not a bad idea, all landyowners on mass into London as a protest against the LEZ, and if that doesn't bring London to a stand still, I'm sure it will when all of us 'break down' ;)
