Locking Wheel Nuts - Removal and Replacement (Key broken!)

Had a tyre changed a couple of weeks ago and it would seem that the broke my locking wheel nut key.

I take it I have to get these bashed off hammer and chisel or somehow, unless any other suggestions?

However replacing the nuts seems pretty expensive!

£40+ on ebay

Land Rover Discovery1 Alloy Wheel Locking Nuts Set of 5 | eBay

Anyone know anywhere else I can get them cheaper?

Do I have to have specific Disco ones?

Get a replacement key.

it has a code stamped on it Land Rover Freelander Locking Wheel Nut Key Number 10 H | eBay - as an example
 
F--k wits broke mine as well. Lazy ****s only know how to use an impact wrench at full throttle. Scratched and chipped paint on my wheel as well hammering a big stupid chap on wheel weight on to it, even after I told them "NO F--KIN CHAP ONS" :mad:
 
Hi, I had this problem after the tyre company overtightened the locking nuts. The garages seem at a total loss on removing the things. However finaly contacted a company who had them all off in about half an hour you can see them at, Locking wheelnuts removed
I have not put locking nuts back on. Hope this helps. www locking wheel nuts removed com
