Disco 3 (LR3) Locked out and can’t get in!

Evening everyone.
Long story short. My key fobs have stopped working and for some reason the emergency door lock is stuck. Recently had water in the passenger footwell so thinking it might be the white/green wire issue.
I’ve tried a rod in the top of the door but the dead locks seem to be activated.
Recently changed the third button from the boot opening to headlights.
Any secret ways to get in? Without smashing a window!

Had any battery issues recently?
Has car got twin tow elec sockets?
If so you can trickle charge the battery via the S socket
Always worth lubing and keep working the pass door lock to see if it will free up

When my mate tried to put the rod in to open the door latch the alarm went off which would suggest the battery is fine. Going to keep trying with the lock too. Cheers.

Pretty certain d3 deadlocks every time you lock it, so break in kit wont work on the doors
Weak batteries cause all sorts of issues on these.

Alarm will still work if the battery is a bit low

Not necessarily, as the alarm has battery backup.

I was able to release the bonnet from the front, but can't remember how now, as it was many years ago.

The passenger door lock quite often stops working, as it's not used very often. Try to use some WD40, and keep working the lock.

I’ve solved the problem. That was to stop being an idiot and turn the key the correct way! ‍

Now I just need to work out if the key fob battery is dead or if the receiver wire had corroded. Thanks for your suggestions.

Key battery connections cracking is quite common, so I'd say the key is more likely than the receiver.
