Live post on battery on the opposite side

hi guys

I have made a huge oversight and bought the replacement battery for my beloved p38 problem is the positive post on the battery is on the left and needed on the right is there any way to lengthen the cables or use some sort of extension patch cable??

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Or exchange battery for correct poles

Cheers guys thanks, I've opted to return the battery for the correct one would have to crimp the two wires with a connector and new posts connectors don't want to really disturb the wiring that's a rabbit hole I don't want to venture down!!

Could you turn it up side down?
