Live near Weston-s-Mare and have Diagnostic Tool??

I need to reset a code on my '01 TD5.

The engine ran for a little while with no coolant which resulted in the AC fan kicking to help the engine. I've had the engine, thermostat etc checked and all is ok but need a NANOCOM or similar to reset the AC fan as it still thinks the engine is about to boil. Can anyone help?

My local specialist wants to charge £30.

I could get over to Bath, my job takes me to St Martins Hospital every now and then, I think i'm that way the week after Easter. I'll let you know, somehow!!

Anyone know if a generic obd2 scanner can reset this as I'm close, plus I need to go to weston in a mondeo to get a 4 wheel alignment after fitting DMF and clutch.
