Light problem

New landy owner could use some help plz

Im having a light problem with my 1993 2.5td 90 drivers side stop & tail light, fog light plus drivers side side light dont work, have checked and replaced the bulbs but no difference...Anybody got any ideas why the lights on just one side of the car would'nt be working????

check these places
1)right hand front chassis leg as loom enters
2)right rear chassis where loom exits
3)lift rubber flap in wheel arch behind lights -check body seam not sawn through loom as mine did.

Also check relay behind dash instruments (speedo, fuel guage etc). Similar thing happened to me and it was that relay.

Will have a look at the relay but would that only affect the one side?

yes and rear body seam behind lights prime for eating through loom

Sounds silly wiggle the fuses the left and right are separate

just re-read, didn't realise it was just one side :doh:

Thanks for all the help, turned out that the last owner when he renewed the side and tail lights did'nt bother to use proper connectors instead just twisted the wires together :crazy: so one of them was causeing a short so problem solved
