Light bar

I while ago i made a light bar for my disco but never got round to getting lights and fitting it. Im just wondering how much better 4 55W lights are up there? iv got 2 55w spots at the grill and they add ab beter light, just want to know what folk think before i go for it. Plus does the light reflect of the bonnet at all? Iv seen some on ebay 55w but sayd you can put 100w bulbs in 4 of them seem a bit over kill to me! Basically just want option of better visability off road and on small country lanes.

i went thru 3 sets on me 90 roof bar before i found a set that produced the light output i wanted..
rectangular units just lit up the bonnet and not too far infront of the landy

ive now settled on a set of pencil beam wipacs which give a very long pencil beam spotlight without lighting up too much of the bonnet.

u can also make up some plates to go under the rectangular units to defer a bit of the light away from the bonnet

100w aint neccessary on the roof really..
4x 55w will give a good light output

whatever you put on the roof will put some light on the bonnet but it depends what light spread u want infront of the landy
