I saw a vitara other day that someone had put bigger springs on front and the Camber of the wheels was a ****ing joke. It was sat on the outer shoulder of the tyres. I reckon it would do same on a gaylander with it being similar set up
You can get camber correction pins, some fit 'em some don't.

so yu dont need longer AR bar drop links? Longer brake hoses? It dont change the cv Joint drive angles front and rear, increasing wear rates? and a host of others I, most likely, havent thought of?

A lot of folk have just fitted the lift kit, and had a 4 wheel alignment done, and had no problems over thousands of miles.

True.
The mods you can do to a Freelander will give you the clearance of a standard Defender or Disco'.
If you need more than that, should you be driving that lane?
Sadly, video's posted by morons on the likes of Youtube are going to f**k it for us all.

For the price of doing it propper, he could buy a cheap tatty disco, just use ir for greenlaning, not worry about the (plastic) bodywork and keep the hippo as a comfy road 4x4.

So what's the outcome of all this then?
Is it agreed that it doesn't "need" a lift kit to go greenlaning? Just decent tyres and the other bits I listed earlier on in the thread?
