legal number plates

hey i have a 200tdi disco 1 with currently just a run of the mill metal bumper, but soon a winch bumper but i lost my number the other day(which i no is ilegal to not have one) but it is so vunerable on the bumper. i do not have aroof rack and dont no where else i can put it as if i dont move it now when my new one comes, i will just have to move it when i get a winch bumper.

so where is legal that i wont break or lose my plate

any help would be good?

leading edge of the bonnet looks good if you get a stick on plate

why its not about the car its about the number plate if i had a 90 id be asking the same quesion

I have tool clips on my number plate and clip it to the winch rollers. When I am offroading I pull it off and stick it in my windscreen.

I have been known to forget to take it off though and it has still been there even after mud plugging and wading.

what about velco it to the outside at the bottom of the window screen. i dno if it will fit

get one of the stick on back ground number plate things get stick on numbers and stick it to the bumper ! it wont break or crack and its cheap to do so if it does get damaged aint no big deal to change it again.
