leaking trw clutch master cylinder

hi has anybody had problems with trw clutch master cylinders I have had to that both started leaking about 3 weeks after fitting them on inspection the push rod ball end was shedding its crome? coating and the bits were being picked up by piston and ended up scoring bore of cylinder?
 
thanks for your replies seems like I am the lucky one 10 years ago got replacement gear box from a top reconditoner dident fit it for 10 years it has got prionunced whine in it whose going to belive me that I have just fitted should have fitted when I bought it to busey at time

your lucky its only a whine after that length of time
 
yes could have been worse 2years ago bought brand new power steering box 1year imonth started leaking out of quad ring at end of cylinder got on to supplier they said 1 year that is it oninspecting quad under magnifying glass the outer edge had small cris cros markes all way round it I changed it in situe still ok next storey got new rear wheel cylinder fitted it 3 weeks thaught lets check it brake drum full brake fluid on checking seals one had a small cut acros sealing edge moral of story is always pull out pistons and check seals with nagnifier befor fitting
