Hi Guys

I am not one to post without searching first, I have searched quite extensivley, and can find many similar problems, but not one that completely matches my symptoms.

I got into the range rover yesterday in the ****ing down rain, and with the engine off i could hear water dripping, looked in the passenger footwell and it was soaking and I could actually see water dripping in.

The best way to describe where its coming from is, if you were sat in passenger seat it would be under the dash near where your right knee would be!

I found a thread which was similar but it was drivers side, and it mentioned sunroof drain plugs or something, could it be this?

Check your pollen filter housing. If they haven't been changed in a while they can fill up with all sorts of crap. Clean out the housing change the filter and seal the top cover with a silicone sealant.

That would be my first port of call.

Thanks for this guys, I was going to take it to a local indie for a service and to fix it, as I am useless,

But I really want to start trying to do things myself, I am lucky in the fact that my Dad and Brother have an MOT Bay and Tyre shop, so My Dad is gonna help e do it, and show me how to maintain the car myself.

I bought it as a hobby, so I suppose part of that is maintaining it as much as you can yourself.

Also

While I am on the subject, I am going to try and give it a good service, does anyone have any documentation on what I need to do? like a checklist, and what are serviceable items?

I am new to all this as you can tell and I do appreciate your help,

No stop seriously, you just need a screwdriver i cant think of anything that's easier you do, it will take you 10 mins to change it, if you can drive a car then you can do this.... can you drive??

As I Said Dopey , I am going to do it myself, I was going to take it somewhere, but as my last post said, I think half the fun of owning this is to maintain it yourself

Thanks
