Right, the front skirt thing wont come off till i can borrow a specialist screwdriver ! in the meantime have noticed the back box is fcucked... question is, if i cut the mid pipe behind the back box and bin the back box, will it be OK till MOT time or can I stick a bit of bent pipe on and make a side exit? Hmmmmmmmmmm

Dont need a bcak box and it sounds good.Specalist scredriver?Big hammer more like.

Aye good answer matey, I heard from somewhere else that the V8 would be OK without a back box, am worried that it might fcuk up the injun tho' And what about plod? nWould it be very very loud then?

PS Specialist Screwdriver= old mans angle grinder!!

a lot of the bobtailed motas have no back box, no room so not too loud.But loud enough

Yes thats true, off it comes then, before it falls off! Think it will be OK if I give it the chop just behind the box then, or a bit further back down the pipe?

I've got a spare tractor exhaust in the shed.....off an old massey ferguson, Hmmmmm

Standard exhaust without a back box is not that loud, my back box fell off I didn't notice.

If you need any pipe or joins, Jetex are cheap and supply all sorts of corners and clamps and swaged joiners.

Well, it came off no probs with the angle grinder, now have a pipe bout 6 inches long left behind the rear wheel, it makes a lovely noise though! The back box was totally rotten and just hanging on and no more!

Thanx for the Jetex link, think will rig up a natty side exit kind of thing!
