Contrary to common belief last night was NOT about heavy handed modding. It was about keeping deliberate SPAM off Landyzone.
Last night happened because members of another site decided they were going to make a seemingly innocent question up and then answer it with a link to their site.
DESPITE WHAT IS BEING DENIED ELSEWHERE THE PERSON LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WAS AN ALTER EGO OF THE SAME PERSON HE HIMSELF WAS LOOKING FOR.
That is all that needs to be known.
They were dealt with in the same way that any other spammer is dealt with.
WE DO NOT LIKE BANNING PEOPLE AND DO NOT WANT TO BAN PEOPLE. PLEASE DON'T MAKE US HAVE TO CONTINUE.
