I still can't belive that ya lied to me and told me that if I move that big lever back and fourth for 15 mins the chip fairy will come with a big bag of my favourite chippies.:mad::mad:

It didn't help that we were on a countdown with Ratty getting a fone call every 5 minutes

"You have to be at work in 30 minutes"
"You have to be at work in 25 minutes"
"You have to be at work in 20 Minute"

FFS change the record woman!!!!!

Told you I should have had a dog, looks dodgy walking on your own to **** arse nowhere with a ratchet strap

Next time someone says a tirfor is ****e, they are great for steady winching in areas that are unsuitable for vehicles like paejero's:p

Yep. And those that say you can't winch with a high lift are wrong anorl. It doesn't matter how many times you've done it you still forget how much it hurts when you smack yer knuckles on the bloody bar though:mad:. My hand looks like I've had a right good punch up.:rolleyes:

Fair play and congrats to IR for another successful rescue - now... should we abe advertising on Slitty forums as a business ventire?

(Only jokin we have chatted about thisbefore)

As for Pajeros

They are great.

In anything shallow. Snow, ice, grass extc.....

But I lost count of the number of times I got stuck while wandering along a lane behicnd disocveries...

also they is narrower. Mypoor little baby girl banged her head more times in a shogun than th would in a disco (and we tried both) while transversin simple lanes like those north of Bedford.

Shogun/pajero are not great off road vehicles.. they are great dodgy surface vehicles...

Fanny.. with respct.. I have NEVER heard anyone refer to a a tirfor as ****e

Hard work....

slow

heavy

but never ****e!

It has been posted before by electric winch zealots- right tool for right job:D
