Do them in this order to minimise the number of times you have to turn the engine over by hand! (It's still "rule of 9" just a more efficient order)

Open -> Adjust
1 -> 8
3 -> 6
5 -> 4
2 -> 7
8 -> 1
6 -> 3
4 -> 5
7 -> 2

Cheers Ian, saves me searching for the order again ;)

Valves on although seats realistically could do with replacing as they're slightly over the 1mm clearance, but it's a job for another time, perhaps when the rebore time comes.

Will be back on later to do that, having food n stuff atm :D

It ain't the same though is it?

The member called ' badger ' made 1 post in November 2005 and hasn't made one since, to me it's an available name as far as i'm concerned and it's not like most folk don't know my nick, it's been next to my avatar pic since gawd knows how long.

Cam back in, rollers and guides back in, oil skew gear is showing signs of wear, so something to put on the list.

Head back on, turbo + manifolds back on as well, also re routing the pipe from the turbo & actuator to IP and bringing it from the inlet manifold to actuator & IP.

I shall have a hunt for a M10 1.5 male to M10 1.25 female adaptor for that.

Picked up the replacement IP last night ( huge thanks to Sypher, you are da man! ) so it's time to put it all back together again starting in 10 minutes or so.

Lots to do as the back is full of rubbish ready for the tip and a job to start on Monday, so no excuses, it has to be running today ;)
