Just a thread to say HELLO!!!
I'm Dan, and recently became the owner of a 54 plate (2004 Face-lift) Freelander 1 td4 SE named "MACK" by our daughter, really nice looking "Hippo" considering it was allegedly used as a farm vehicle 🤔
I've done the crankcase filter mod, recently replaced the oil cooler (on engine) and fitted a piper X cone filter. The mods on it when brought are a nice chrome bullbar, medium size light bar on front grille, side steps with orange marker lights, and an EGR delete.
I'd like to get a full set of silicone induction hoses & a decent set of AT tires in the future and maybe a back box delete + side exit exhaust.... 😉😉🤪

Hi - welcome to the forum.
Certainly looks like a clean example!

Lots of help and advice on the Freelander specific section of the forum - we go there so as not to get infected by rust and leaks from defenderer types.

Hahaha! Thank you 😊
It is really clean (at least on top) underside has a few rusty bits to sort out....
I was told it was previously a farm vehicle which considering how tidy the body is, is hard to believe... it only has a couple of very minor scrapes & broken tail light
